Job Opening – Architect (Licensed or on the path to licensure)
Chambless King Architects is an award-winning architecture firm focused on connecting people and communities through thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and care. Our team is committed to providing quality architecture and comprehensive service for projects across the southeast.
We are currently accepting applications for an architect to join our Montgomery, Alabama office. The successful candidate will thrive in a design-focused and highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
Lead design and documentation efforts from conceptual design through construction
Explore design concepts and constraints in Revit and three-dimensional environments
Produce accurate and thorough technical documentation of a design solution
Lead and contribute to the design team and creative process
Attend and actively participate in project team and client meetings
Travel to project sites, as required
Requirements
Flexibility to balance multiple, complex projects in various stages of development
Ability to perform work independently and collaboratively within a project team
Strong graphic, technical, written, and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and organization
Entrepreneurial spirit
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in architecture
3+ years of relevant experience
Highly proficient in Revit
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
