Alabama State University Stadium
The $62 million ASU stadium features a synthetic turf playing surface and is one of the most technologically advanced professional and college stadiums in the country. Completed in 2012 for the annual Turkey Day Classic, the 450,000-square-foot stadium and its 64-foot high-definition scoreboard are highly visible from the interstate near downtown Montgomery.
The multi-purpose facility has a 26,500-seat capacity across three levels, including 20 luxury skyboxes, 200 box seats, 750 club seats, and a club lounge. The design allows for expansion to almost double capacity to 55,000 fans.
Amenities include team locker and meeting rooms, coach conference room, players’ lounge, press box, administrative offices, merchandise store, and restaurant. This venue also has the capacity and potential to anchor concerts and band competitions, and to host other sporting and tournament events.
