Chambless King Architects expands to Birmingham

A Montgomery architecture firm has expanded into Birmingham with a brick-and-mortar presence and a new principal hire.
Chambless King Architects opened an office at 1109 22nd St. S. and has named Jared Fulton principal in the firm.
Fulton most recently was head of the commercial design division at Christopher Architecture and Interiors and as an architect with Williams Blackstock Architects.
Fulton’s work in the Birmingham area includes the Caliber Sports Store, Panache by Domestique Coffee, Vestavia Hills City Hall, Lewis Communications corporate office, Bettola, and master planning for the Pepper Place district. He is also the co-owner of Plenty Design Coop, a modern, handcrafted furniture company, and operates Commonplace, an artist studio and community space in Woodlawn.
