LogiCore Corporate Headquarters

LogiCore, an innovative Huntsville-based logistics and information technology firm, desired a new corporate headquarters that would reflect their identity while providing creative and compelling spaces to meet and work. 

The project is located on a corner lot in Cummings Research Park adjacent to a large pond. Program necessitated two separate buildings — a two-story primary building containing event and employee amenity spaces on the ground floor and office space above and a one-story secondary building with leasable office space and warehouse. The primary building is oriented with long faces north/south for optimal daylighting and prime views of the water and surrounding landscape. The secondary building lies perpendicular, creating an “L” with the primary to enclose a large green space between the buildings and water.

The exterior material palette of cast stone, zinc panels, and wood-printed metal soffits clearly define the building forms. Large, smooth expanses of structural-glazed storefront and curtain wall emit abundant daylight into the building and amplify the dynamic formal composition with uninterrupted reflections.
